Our Story

Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe.

One date became many, and somehow, just six months later, we found ourselves viewing a house together — and very nearly buying it. Things moved quickly, but with us, they simply felt right.

Since then, we've built a life full of laughter, adventures, a home of our own, and countless memories along the way. And now, we're getting ready for our favourite chapter yet — becoming husband and wife.

We can't wait to celebrate it with all of you.

What is the nearest airport?

The closest and most convenient airport is Eindhoven Airport (EIN), approximately 40–45 minutes by car from Grathem.

For guests travelling without a car, Roermond and Weert are the nearest larger towns with train stations and taxi connections.

Where should we stay?

There are several lovely hotels and B&Bs nearby.

    Located in the beautiful white village of Thorn, around 10 minutes from the venue.

Roermond

What are the nearest towns?

Roermond and Weert are the nearest larger towns. Both offer hotels, restaurants, shops and train connections. Roermond is especially lovely for guests who would like to stay for the weekend and explore the area.

The picturesque village of Thorn is also very close to the venue and well worth a visit.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes. Kasteel Groot Buggenum has private parking available for wedding guests.

Will transportation be provided?

Guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue.
